Abstract
Anjat is a multi-function bag used by Dayak people in Kalimantan to store their belongings and other things when exploring the forest. The pattern applied in the bag is inspired by a deep meaning and depend on the village it was created, which makes the Anjat bag interesting. Anjat partition used the pattern from Anjat bag and is adjusted with the function of the partition, to separate rooms. Not only the pattern, but also the multi-function system, thus can be used as storage as well as dressing table. This article will analyze Anjat partition as a design that preserving local culture in contemporary way. Keywords: design, partition, Anjat, local culture, Dayak.
