Abstract
The attack of potato cyst nematode pests on potato plants causes low potato production. The research aimed to find the presence of cysts of golden cyst nematode in potato fields in Sumber Brantas Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City followed by morphological and morphometric identification to determine the type of cysts found. The research was conducted in April - May 2022, at the Laboratory of the Surabaya Agricultural Quarantine Center with the sampling site located in Brakseng Village, Bumiaji District, Batu city using the butt print method and measuring the granek ratio using the results of the study stated that the type of GSE found was globodera rostochiensis with the number of cysts in field A as many as 656 cysts and in field B as many as 872 cysts. The cysts found were dormant cysts and empty cysts. Keywords: potato, cysts, nematodes
