Abstract
SONGGORITI COFFEE GROWTH IN BATU CITY Fransisca Salsabila 18051010086 ABSTRACT The level of coffee consumption in Indonesian society is experiencing an increasing trend because at this time coffee is not only used as a reliever from fatigue and sleepiness, but also in various activities, as nowadays young people make coffee as a drink at gatherings. Indonesia has various types of coffee. One of them is Songgoriti coffee which grows in the Ket Ireng coffee plantation. This garden is located in the Songgoriti area, Batu city. However, not many know or know this Songgoriti coffee, only local people know it because it has not been managed properly, so it is necessary to have a place to introduce this type of Songgoriti coffee as well as educate visitors to know how to process and cultivate coffee. The design concept refers to the theme "Harmonious with Coffee" which is a theme that raises harmony with coffee. Where drinking coffee with people can create a harmonious interaction. Moreover, drinking coffee has become a culture of the Indonesian people who make it a habit when chatting and chatting. In addition, with this Agrotourism, it can create a harmony between each other. By using an ecological approach with the green building method at the Songgoriti coffee agrotourism in Batu city, it is considered suitable to be applied, with the implementation of the building it will become an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly building. This aims to preserve and maintain the existing environment. With the existence of Songgoriti Coffee Agrotourism in Batu city, with the provision of adequate facilities in the form of recreational and educational facilities, it is hoped that it will be able to introduce Songgoriti coffee to the wider community and improve the quality of coffee and can help the economy of the surrounding community, especially coffee farmers.
