Abstract

The increasing number of motorized vehicles causes noise pollution that comes from motor vehicle emissions. Noise from the highway comes from heavy vehicles (HV), light vehicles (LV) and motorcycles (MC). The object of research is along Jalan Raya Mastrip and Jalan Raya Driyorejo. These two roads are roads that have a fairly dense traffic volume level, as well as a fairly high vehicle speed, especially during peak hours, which allows for an increase in the intensity of noise pollution. For the research location, five points were chosen on each road. It is hoped that in the future this research will produce thematic maps that can be used for information and databases by local governments using Geographic Information Systems in order to get better results. From the results of calculations using the multiple linear regression method, the highest R2 value is 0.976 on Jalan Raya Mastrip Survey Point 2. So the correlation value of MC vehicle volume data with Leq is 1, meaning it has a very strong positive correlation, LV vehicle volume data with Leq is 0.666, meaning has a fairly strong positive correlation and data on the volume of HV vehicles with a Leq of -0.294 means that it has a very low negative correlation. It can be concluded that a positive correlation means that the more the volume of the vehicle, the higher the noise level is not necessarily. While the highest R2 value on the Driyorejo Arterial Road was at Survey Point 5 of 0.925. So the correlation value of MC vehicle volume data with Leq of 1 means it has a very strong positive correlation, LV vehicle volume data with Leq of 0.309 means it has a fairly strong positive correlation and HV vehicle volume data with Leq of -0.422 means it has a very low negative correlation . It can be concluded that a positive correlation means that the more the volume of vehicles, the noise level will not necessarily increase Keywords : Vehicle Volume, Noise, Traffic
