Abstract

Mojokerto City is a city in East Java Province, Indonesia. this city located 50 km southwest of Surabaya. Mojokerto is the main support city for Mother city ​​of East Java Province. This city is experiencing very rapid development of local revenue and population growth has increased every year year. This is one of the factors that affect past performance traffic is quite complex, especially the problem of traffic density. Study carried out on Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan Empu Nala, and Jalan Pahlawan where These three roads are one of the busiest centers in Mojokerto City. From This research is expected to be able to analyze and map mathematical relationships Volume-Speed-Density, so that the value of the free-flow velocity can be obtained, maximum density, and maximum volume Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan Empu Nala, and Hero's Path. In this study using remote sensing and geographic information system as a tool, as well as data analysis using the method Greenshields. The results of the study show the value of the free flow speed of vehicles The highest (Sff) occurred on Monday, February 17, 2020 on Jalan Empuala Sff = 60.734 km/hour, the highest maximum capacity or current (VM) occurred at Monday, February 17, 2020 on Jalan Epunala VM = 1980,585 smp/hour, speed at the highest maximum traffic flow (SM) conditions occurred on the day of the Thursday, February 20, 2020 on Jalan Empunala SM = 30.367 km/hour and density in conditions of maximum traffic flow (DM) the highest occurred on Wednesday 19 February 2020 on Jalan Empunala DM = 68,073 smp/km.
