Abstract

Chrysanthemum pot (Chrysanthemum sp.) As a potted plant that has an advantage over other plants because the flowering can be adjusted so that it facilitates production throughout the year. This study aims to obtain the right concentration and time of paklobutrazol for chrysanthemum cut in order to obtain pot chrysanthemum yield according to the quality standard of potted chrysanthemum plants. The research was conducted in February-May 2020 in the plastic house in Jara'an Hamlet, Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors, namely the deposition of concentration and disbudding time with 12 treatment combinations repeated 3 times. The first concentration factor was paklobutrazol with 4 levels, namely 250 ppm, 500 ppm, 750 ppm and 1000 ppm. While the second factor was disbudding time, namely without disbudding, disbudding 6 HSI, and disbudding 12 HSI. The results showed that the concentration of paklobutrazol and disbudding time showed an interaction on the optimal flower diameter parameter between 8-10 cm at a combination of concentration of paklobutrazol concentration of 500 ppm and disbudding time of 6 HSI (K2D1), namely 9.83 cm. The concentration of paklobutrazol that can support plant height is in accordance with the quality class A standard of potted chrysanthemum at 500 ppm (K2) concentration of paklobutrazol service which is 33.45 cm and the precipitation treatment of paklobutrazol 750 ppm (K3) is 26.76 cm.
