Abstract
Social media content design is inseparable from several elements in Visual Communication Design. Several rules in designing visual communication design work require the alignment of various elements to fulfill informative, communicative & aesthetic values by applying Headline & Layout elements. Recently, the Carousel Design Trend which is implemented as a feature on several social media such as: Instagram, Facebook, & Linkedin, is seen as one of the mediums in conveying maximum information through social media content. Carousel design is one type of social media content that contains more than one image/several pages that can be uploaded in one content unit. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, where the Headline & Layout function is used as a literature study on the application of Carousel Design in various social media such as Instagram, Facebook & Linkedin, then described & analyzed how this carousel design is considered effective in conveying messages & clarity of information in a content upload. The results of this research will provide comprehensive information to designers in using Headline & Layout in Carousel Design Content Design to maximize features on Social Media. This paper is intended so that designers can maximize the function of Headline & Layout in a Carousel design design by maximizing existing design principles & visual elements.
