Abstract
ABSTRAC The research entitled Motorcycle Theft With Forced Criminal Violence in the City of Surabaya (Case Study at Polrestabes Surabaya). As for in this study, it examines what are the factors that make motorcycle thieves commit the crime of motorcycle theft repeatedly in the Surabaya Polrestabes area, as well as how to enforce the law against motorcycle theft in the Surabaya Polrestabes area. Related to the research method used is the analytical method with an empirical juridical approach, which refers to the norms and laws and regulations that apply in society. In this study succeeded in drawing a conclusion that, the security of the surrounding environment makes it prone to crime so that the need for community participation in this case supports security by paying attention to every incident that is around us. Lack of awareness of the law can be the cause of someone doing something like this, also because this theft is global in nature so that violence is not only for that it usually often occurs on the highway, also the security of the surrounding environment makes it prone to crime so that the need for community participation in this case supports security by pay attention to every event.
