Abstract
The objectives to be achieved from the implementation of the Field Work Practice (PKL) at PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia Mojokerto Factory is to know the production system for making Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) at PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia Mojokerto Factory and know the analysis of demand forecasting for Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) products to determine the amount of production at the PPC Department at PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia Mojokerto Factory.PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia Mojokerto Factory implements a Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) production system using the Make To Stock method while maintaining the quality of the MSG. In the production process, PT. Ajinomoto Indonesia uses 2 systems, starting from the treatment of raw materials to the fermentation process using a batch system, while the isolation process to purification occurs in a continuous system. Broadly speaking, the process of making Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) from molasses until it becomes crystals ready for distribution passes through 5 stages. For Forecasting Production at PT. Ajinomoto Mojokerto Factory Indonesia, this is done yearly / yearly by using the fiscal year starting from April to March based on demand data from sales / PT. Ajinomoto Sales Indonesia.
