Abstract
Lithium are mass produced in many country to be used as the raw material of battery. Indonesia did not own Lithium Metal Ore source, some province have the potential to have it but not discovered yet. As per that problem, alternate method to obtain Lithium are needed so Indonesia can also developing Lithium Indusrty. Lithium can be obtained by Recovery Process to an alternate resource of Lithium, such as Bittern and Brine. Lapindo Mud water of Porong, Sidoarjo are used as brine resource. Adsorption method is used with MnO2 as the Adsorbent. The Fixed condition are temperature (± 30°C) and time (1 hour). Meanwhile the variable are rotary speed of Magnetic Stirrer (100 ; 150 ; 200 ; 250 dan 300 (rpm) and the consentration of adsorbent MnO2 (2,5 ; 7,5 ; 12,5 ; 17,5 dan 22,5) (g/L). The purpose of this research is to find out the content of Lithium recovered from Lapindo Mud water. In addition, to determine the rotational speed of the magnetic stirrer and the best concentration of MnO2 adsorbent in the Lithium recovery process. Concluded that the best result obtained from the 150 rpm rotary speed of Magnetic Stirrer with adsorbent concentration of 2,5 g/L. The adsorption process are following Freundlich type of Equation.
