Abstract
Cayenne pepper is one of the commodities that is in great demand by the community, and is widely cultivated by farmers, but the yield is still low. These problems can be overcome by giving paclobutrazol and fertilization. This study aims to determine the interaction between the concentration of paclobutrazol and the dose of liquid organic fertilizer from banana waste on cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.). The research was carried out on Jalan Merapi Ngoro Kidul, Ngoro, Jombang from February to June 2022. This study was a factorial experiment based on a Divided Plot Design (RPT) with 2 factors, and 3 replications. The dose of POC banana waste as the main plot consisted of 3 levels, namely 300 ml/plant (D1), 400 ml/plant (D2), 500 ml/plant (D3). The treatment concentration of paclobutrazol (K) as sub-plots consisted of 4 levels, namely 0 ppm/without administration (Control) (K0), 100 ppm (K1), 150 ppm (K2), 200 ppm (K3). The results showed that there was a significant interaction between paclobutrazol and POC of banana waste on total fruit weight per plant. The combination of 150 ppm paclobutrazol treatment and 400 ml/plant of POC banana fruit waste gave the best results on total fruit weight per plant.
