Abstract
Poverty is a condition where people in an area are unable to meet their daily needs which are still lacking. Poverty causes the productivity of human resources to decrease which has an impact on the low income of the community, so that appropriate strategies are needed in reducing and overcoming the problem of poverty. This study aims to determine the relationship between the open unemployment rate, education, economic growth, and population growth on the number of poor people in Nganjuk Regency from 2010 to 2020. The data used is time series data obtained through the website of the Central Statistics Agency at East Java Province and Nganjuk Regency. The research method used is a quantitative approach with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. This research is able to show the effect of the variable economic growth and population growth on the number of poor people in Nganjuk Kabupaten considered to have a significant and positive influence. However, the open unemployment rate and education on the number of poor people in Nganjuk Regency have no significant effect
