Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the family environment and consumption patterns have an impact on financial literacy among management students at UPN "Veteran" East Java. Quantitative techniques were used in this study. The participants in this study were UPN "Veteran" East Java management students between 2018 and 2021. 101 students majoring in management were chosen as samples using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The distribution of questionnaires is the method of data collection in this study. The study's final findings indicate that the family environment variable has a positive and significant impact on financial literacy, the family environment variable has a positive and significant impact on consumption behavior, and the consumption behavior variable has a positive but non-significant impact on financial literacy.
