Abstract
This research aims to analyze the impact of good corporate governance towards the company’s financial performance which is proxied with return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). The sample used is companies that are incorporated in Ministry of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) within research period of 2016-2020. This is a quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis by partial least square (PLS) as analysis media. In this research, good corporate governance is measured by independent commissioner and audit committee, while financial performance is measured by return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). The result shows that independent commissioner has a negative and significant effect on return on assets (ROA), also has a negative and not significant effect on return on equity (ROE). Meanwhile, audit committee has a positive and significant effect on return on assets (ROA), also has a positive and significant effect on return on equity (ROE).
