Abstract
PT Cross Network Indonesia is one of the internet provider companies that is developing in Indonesia and based in Surabaya. Provider companies usually have management on each customer, and one of them is content management. What is meant by management is controlling the quality of the customer, while what is meant by content is information that can be accessed via the internet. In this sense it can be concluded that the task of content management is to serve users in terms of controlling the information obtained in accessing the internet. In today's world the use of the internet is very important for everyday life, we can get information and exchange information without having to meet face to face, but every time there is a positive side there must be a negative side. There are so many negative sides of the internet such as addiction to playing online games and social media, even accessing sites that have nothing to do with work or work, even downloading porn videos. Based on these problems, our group restricts internet access or can be referred to as content management using a layer 7 firewall on the mikrotik RB-433, in content management we can block websites requested by customers so that the website cannot be accessed by the customer.
