Abstract
The world was shocked by the presence of an infectious virus that was discovered in Wuhan in 2019. This virus became known as the Corona Virus. Common signs and symptoms of Covid-19 infection include symptoms of acute respiratory distress such as fever, cough and shortness of breath. TOGA or Family Medicinal Plants are cultivated plants that have medicinal properties. These various kinds of medicinal plants have many ingredients and benefits that have long been known to be able to treat various diseases, including symptoms of disease in Covid-19 patients. The high benefits and usefulness of the Toga is very unfortunate if one glances at it because people do not know about the Toga itself. So there is a need for a design related to education on the use of Toga, especially for teenagers because teenagers are one part of society that can play an important role in overcoming Covid-19. This design carries the title "Design of an Illustrated Book About the Introduction and Use of Family Medicinal Plants as Prevention of Covid-19 for Adolescents Aged 16-23 Years". The book media was chosen because it can contain general information about Family Medicinal Plants. The data analysis process used is descriptive analysis which explains the important points of the data that has been collected from interviews, questionnaires and observations. The design concept of this book contains basic information on various types of Family Medicinal Plants, using light language so that it is easy to understand and attractively packaged using illustrations. The design of this book is expected to be able to educate the audience about the benefits and uses of Toga around us, and so that people can get to know the family medicinal plants better.
