Abstract
This research was conducted to find out how the representation of the struggle of feminists to fight sexual violence against women in social media. This is based on the fact that there are still many cases of sexual violence that occur against women in Indonesia that are not resolved, or are detrimental to women because of weak laws. This study focuses on the post on the Instagram account @indonesiafeminis regarding the struggle against sexual violence against women within a period of three months, in July, August, September 2021. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with a content analysis model. The results of the representation of feminism's struggle against sexual violence against women in the @indonesiafeminis account, which starts from opposing all forms of sexual objectification of women in the media, participating in guarding the Draft Law on the Elimination of Sexual Violence (RUU PKS) until it is ratified, providing knowledge to the public about what sexual violence is, and play a role in providing protection to survivors of sexual violence victims who do not get justice. From the representations found, the feminist flow used is the liberal feminist school. This @indonesiafeminist account is struggling to create change in which women are still considered the second class. The expected change is that women and men have an equal position to get proper protection, law, and assistance so that women are no longer objects of sexual violence who are prone to discrimination.
