Abstract

The chemical industry is a sector that drives the national economy, which is continuously encouraged by the Indonesian government. Including one of five sectors that get priority in development so that they are ready to implement Industry 4.0. One of the chemicals that are widely needed in the chemical industry is phosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid factory from phosphate rock and sulfuric acid will be operated with a capacity of 150,000 tons/year and will be built in Gresik, East Java. The Phosphoric Acid Factory operates 330 days a year and 24 hours a day with a total of 200 employees. The feasibility analysis is seen from the value of Return On Investment (ROI) after tax of 32%, Pay Back Periode (PBP) after taxes of 3,2 years, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 29,08%, Break Event Point (BEP) 32,6%. From the above eligibility parameters, it can be concluded that this Phosphoric Acid Factory is feasible to be established.
