Abstract
Malang City is a city in Indonesia which is famous for its nickname as the City of Students. Students who are dominated by teenagers are entering a period of searching for identity so that they have various interests and talents in various fields. There is no special place for teenagers to develop themselves and explore the potential stored in Malang City. Some places provide facilities for this, but their existence is still separate. Some facilities are also inadequate to accommodate various activities, interests and talents, as well as communities of interest. Therefore, it is necessary to have a facility in the form of a Youth Center with various facilities in it to accommodate various activities, interests and talents, as well as a community that is of interest to young people in Malang City. Youth Center will function as a means of self-development for teenagers who are very diverse among teenagers in Malang City. The application of architecture includes space requirements, circulation, and layout patterns based on user activities. If the application of behavioral architecture in the design of the Youth Center space is developed optimally, it will create a space that is able to cover all activities in it so as to create a psychologically comfortable atmosphere for teenagers. Therefore, the Dynamic Approach Theme was taken in this design. The results of this design are the application of facades that have dynamic character and placement of space, created several communal spaces so that teenagers can gather and explore, psychological application of space to affect the atmosphere of the room, application of ornaments and materials in each room as ordered , and so forth. Through the application of this design, it is hoped that the learning objectives that lead to character building can be achieved.
