Abstract
Kediri Regency is one of the regions in Indonesia that has begun to develop infrastructure, especially in the transportation network, which indirectly causes an increase in economic growth. As a result of economic growth, a person's mobility increases and the need for movement increases beyond the capacity of the available transportation infrastructure, so an Intermodal Terminal is needed to connect other transportation networks. The design concept of the Intermodal Terminal refers to the theme “Modern Transportation with Local Taste”. The theme was taken with the intention of creating an Intermodal Terminal as a trend for today's transportation modes that can connect road, train, and air transportation to support mass transportation that is friendly to both local people and immigrants, which by design can display a local image that is a local cultural heritage. Using a Contemporary Architecture approach with a modern design but still in harmony with the environment, which is applied using the "Tangible metaphor" method by mapping the shape of the characteristics of the Kediri Regency.
