Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana situs berita online sindonews.com dan detik.com dalam membingkai pemberitaan kartu kuning ketua BEM Universitas Indonesia kepada Presiden Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis framing. model framing yang digunakan adalah milik Robert N. Entman yang terdiri dari empat perangkat elemen yaitu pendefinisian masalah, memperkirakan masalah, membuat keputusan moral, dan menekankan penyelesaian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberitaan pada media online sindonews.com dan detik.com memiliki perspektif yang berbeda terhadap aksi kartu kuning yang diberikan oleh ketua BEM Universitas Indonesia kepada Presiden Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo. Situs berita online sindonews.com cenderung mendukung dan membenarkan aksi yang dilakukan oleh ketua BEM Universitas Indonesia. Sedangkan situs berita online detik.com cenderung mengkritik dan tidak setuju terhadap aksi yang dilakukan oleh ketua BEM Universitas Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to find out how the online news sites sindonews.com and detik.com in framing the news of yellow card who given by the chairman of BEM Indonesian University to the President of Republic Indonesia Joko Widodo. This study uses qualitative method with framing analysis technique. the framing model used belongs to Robert N. Entman that consisting of four sets of elements that is define problem, diagnose causes, make moral judgement, and treatment recommendation. The results of this study indicate that the news on online media sindonews.com and detik.com has a different perspective on yellow card action who given by the chairman of BEM Indonesian University to the President of Republic Indonesia Joko Widodo. Online news sites sindonews.com tend to support and justify the actions undertaken by the chairman of BEM Indonesian University. While the online news sites detik.com tend to criticize and disagree with the action who made by the chairman of BEM Indonesian Univeristy.
