Abstract

Sustainable Food Courts (P2L) are activities carried out by community groups who jointly cultivate yards as a source of food in a sustainable manner. This activity is carried out in order to increase availability, accessibility and utilization as well as income. This study aims to assess the use of the women's farmer group's yard after receiving the benefits of a sustainable food yard (P2L) in Malang, analyze the economic, social and environmental impacts of a women farmer group after using a sustainable food yard (P2L) in Malang, and analyze the role of the group. women farmers in the use of yards through the sustainable food yard program (P2L) in Malang. This research was conducted in 5 sub-districts in Malang City. The sampling method used multistage random sampling method, with the number of respondents as many as 50 people. The data analysis method used is a descriptive analysis of the Miles and Huberman model, using a Likert scale as a tool. The results of the study concluded that: 1) Assessment of yard utilization was seen from several aspects: a) Aspects of using environmentally friendly yards obtained an average percentage of about 88.33% or entered the good category; b) Aspects of the sustainability of the use of the yard get a percentage of 100% or in the very good category; c) Aspects of the diversity of the commodities planted get an average percentage of about 92.5% or fall into the very good category; d) Aspects of utilizing the vertical model get an average percentage of about 30% or fall into the very bad category. The results of the utilization seen from each indicator in the yard have a value of 82.85% or in the very good category. 2) The impact of economic, social and environmental aspects: a) The impact of the use of the yard by members from the economic aspect on the indicators of saving expenditure, the use of the yard is able to save expenses of around Rp. 5000 - Rp. 15,000 / day. On indicators of fulfillment of needs, the commodities planted are able to meet household food needs; b) From the aspect of the social impact of the use of the yard by members, it is able to establish communication such as sharing about problems in the yard and communication that is persuasive or inviting in using the yard. Utilization of the yard, able to foster a sense of sharing from the results planted from the yard; c) From the aspect of environmental impact, the aspect of providing comfort for the use of the yard provides comfort such as beauty, beauty and tidiness. 3) The role of women's farmer groups in the learning class is in the high category with an average score of 3.12, the cooperative vehicle is in the high category with an average of 3.05 and the production unit is in the high category with an average score of 2.96. Overall, the role of women's farmer groups is in the high category with an average score of 3.04. Key Words: Utilization, of Yard Land, Role, of Women Farmer Group, Sustainable Food Court (P2L)
