Abstract

Banyaknya pemberitaan yang muncul mengenai bahaya produk ikan kaleng mengandung cacing, masih menimbulkan pro kontra di masyarakat. Masyarakat beranggapan jenis ikan kaleng tersebut tak berbahaya untuk dikonsumsi, tetapi beberapa masyarakat beranggapan bahwa makanan apapun yang terdapat cacing didalamnya tetap saja tidak layak untuk dikonsumsi, karena akibat yang ditimbulkan oleh cacing tersebut dapat membahayakan kesehatan manusia. Hal ini yang membuat peneliti tertarik meneliti pemberitaan “Bahaya Produk Ikan Kaleng Mengandung Cacing”. Peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana sikap masyarakat terhadap pemberitaan bahaya produk ikan kaleng yang mengandung cacing. Metode penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Surabaya yang berusia 17 hingga 65 tahun. Sampel sebanyak 100 responden dengan memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditentukan peneliti. Berdasarkan analisis penelitian ini responden memberikan sikap positif. Kata Kunci: Afektif, bahaya, kognitif, konatif, media massa Many news that emerged about the dangers of canned fish products containing worms, still cause pros and cons in society. People think these canned fish are harmless to consume, but some people think that any food that contains worms in it is still not suitable for consumption, because the effects caused by these worms can endanger human health. This makes researchers interested in researching the news of "Danger of Canned Fish Products Containing Worms". Researchers want to know how people's attitudes towards reporting the dangers of canned fish products contain worms. This research method is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study is the people of Surabaya aged 17 to 65 years. A sample of 100 respondents fulfilled the criteria determined by the researcher. Based on the analysis of this study respondents gave a positive attitude. Keywords: Affective, danger, cognitive, conative, mass media
