Abstract
In the capital market, the stock price of a company can be used as a measure of whether or not a company's financial performance is good. On this basis, this study aims to determine the effect of profitability and leverage on stock prices with Earning Per Share as an intervention variable on property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The population of this study are property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method in order to obtain a sample of 150 companies. The analysis method uses path analysis with the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that (1) profitability contributes to stock prices. (2) Leverage does not contribute to the share price. (3) Earning Per Share contributes to the share price. (4) Profitability contributes to Earning Per Share. (5) Leverage does not contribute to Earning Per Share. (6) Earning Per Share is able to mediate the relationship between profitability and leverage on stock prices in property and real estate companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
