Abstract
Final Disposal Area (FDA) at Galuga uses an controlled landfill and composting system to collect garbage up to 110,35 m3 per day. The garbage composition is 75 % organic garbage and 25 % inorganic garbage in mixed condition from the garbage source. The system has a negative effect because of leachate, the resulting substance of garbage decomposition is easily absorved in to the groundwater. Thus polluting it including the well water in the nearby area. This research’s aim is to assess the dug well water quality around Final Disposal Area (FDA) because of the effect of garbage management, with checking quality standards there is on Quality Standards Number 416/MENKES/PER/IX/1990 about Water Quality Requirements. Method of collecting data that observation, interview, and study documentation. Determination of sample many kinds of there 4 variation distance that is 20 m, 35 m, 45 m, 65 m. Analysis water do in directly in the field and in laboratory.Dringking water quality standards ( physics, cemistry, and microbiologi ) determined according to Quality Standards Number 416/MENKES/PER/IX/1990 about Water Quality Requirements.
