Abstract
In the digital era, internet and social media users are increasing. Instagram is one of the social media that has the highest number of users. This opportunity makes Instagram into the right tool to spread the message and build a personal branding. This is also used by Indrata Nur Bayuaji, the Regent of Pacitan Regency for the 2021-2025 Period who builds his personal branding through the Instagram platform. Indrata Nur Bayuaji is the First Regent in Pacitan Regency who actively uses Instagram as a means of communication and personal branding. This research analyzes the Instagram account of Indrata Nur Bayuaji @inb_indratanurbayuaji in building personal branding by reviewing the theory of 8 laws of personal branding proposed by Peter Montoya and conducting in-depth interviews with account managers to get more accurate information
