Abstract

This field of Work practices is about the creation of QR Code Guestbook Information System in PPS Lab of computer Science Faculty of National Development University ' Veteran ' of East Java. In this field work practice can be seen for the strategy in advancing the laboratory in handling an attendance system that exists within the scope of the campus. With this web-based QR Code can help the effectiveness of the attendance system. A web that is designed for a more optimal attendance system is to use the web for reporting on absences when going into classes/labs that are located in the campus. Attendance reporting can only be accessed by the admin responsible for this web management. The step to do attendance process with QR Code is to go to website page, then scanning QR code on ID card which contains QR Code picture that has been shared before. Then there is a description that the person has done scanning his QR Code. The Data from the QR Code that has been made will be entered into the database. If the person is already charging the attendance will be in process by the admin to know who has come to the laboratory. Attendance system using this QR Code can help to make a solution and effectiveness in the model of an attendance problem. Website that has been designed to facilitate the reporting of absent.
