Abstract
Current rice cultivation in Indonesia still relies on the use of inorganic fertilizers which can increase production yields quickly. Inorganic fertilizers that are used uncontrollably can reduce productivity and environmental quality. Efforts to overcome this matter require the addition of organic matter in the form of compost to maintain the availability of nutrients for rice plants. The use of PGPR is beneficial for soil fertility, because it can activate soil microorganisms so that the organic matter contained in the soil can be decomposed, the soil as a planting medium becomes fertile. This study aims to determine the fertilization dose and concentration of PGPR and the proper interaction of the two in increasing the growth and yield of rice plants. This study uses a split plot design. The main plot of fertilization dose with three lev els of P1 (100% inorganic fertilizer), P2 (75% inorganic fertilizer + 5,000 kg / ha compost, and P 3 (75% inorganic fertilizer + 10,000 kg / ha compost) and sub-plots of PGPR concentration with three levels R1 (10 ml / L), R2 (15 ml / L), and R3 (20 ml / L) were repeated three times. The results showed the P2R1 combination showed the longest yield of 66,17 cm in the length of the rice plant per clump. The P1R1 combination showed the heaviest yield of 11,67 kg on the dry grain weight per 14 m2 of the experimental plot. The combination P1R1 showed the heaviest yield of 8338,1 kg on dry grain weight per hectare. Fertilization of P2 showed the longest yield of 107,56 cm at the length of rice plants per hill 70 DAS. PGPR R1 showed the longest yield of 64,46 cm at the length of the rice plant per hill at 42 DAS. Keywords : Rice Plants, Inorganic Fertilizers, Compost Fertilizers, PGPR.
