Abstract
The existence of macro and soil mesofauna which act as decomposers of organic matter and have a relationship in improving soil physical properties and properties is still limited, this study aims to determine the level of macro and soil mesofauna biodiversity in several agroforestry patterns in baledono village, puspo sub-district. This research was conducted from September 2021 to March 2022, taking samples of macro and meso fauna of the soil using the hand sorting method by making a quadrant measuring 25 x 25 cm. The results showed that 17 species of macrophages and 2 species of meso fauna were found. The highest diversity index value was found in PAC 1 for pine and chili fields with a value of 1.88 and the lowest for PAC 3 for mahogany and tomato fields with a value of 1.62 and for both the results still showed low category.
