Abstract
CSR or corporate social responsibility has evolved from philanthropic activities to become an important component in managing stakeholders and has been included in the performance model. CSR disclosure is one way to maximize company profits. This study aims to analyze the effect of CSR on financial performance projected by ROA and ROE. This study uses a simple regression analysis method. The type of data used in this study is secondary data, which includes data on the annual financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The results show that Corporate Social Responsibility has a significant positive effect on Return on Assets (ROA) in manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2020, and Corporate Social Responsibility has a significant positive effect on Return on Equity (ROE) in companies manufacturing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2020.
