Abstract
Sidoarjo Creativepreneur Center is a building center that accommodates 4 leading sub-sectors in Sidoarjo, namely culinary, fashion, product design, and fine arts. It also accommodates supporting facilities, namely co-working space, prayer rooms and plaza areas. As well as creating buildings that have characteristics and rooms with natural nuances so that they can be completed with a Biophilic Design approach. Keeping in mind that there is no forum capable of developing the creativity of the youth in Sidoarjo. Therefore, it is an opportunity to establish the Sidoarjo Creativepreneur Center with the support of several facilities and infrastructure complete with technology. As well as the demands to continuously produce a work or develop an existing work, as well as the demands of a high job target create an increase in stress for workers in the creative industry. The complexity of the problems in the work environment, not a few workers who experience overwork and make workers stressed. This will have a negative impact on the results of work productivity. Therefore, a forum is needed to be able to overcome these problems. Given this, that natural elements can reduce a person's stress level, there is a method related to natural elements, namely Biophilic Design. The application of the Biophilic Design approach in this design has the characteristics of buildings and spaces that have natural nuances so that they can unite humans and nature. Natural elements in the building or work area are expected to minimize or reduce stress levels for workers. The method used in the design of the building uses natural patterns in space, analogous patterns of nature, patterns of spatial properties. Namely systems and architectural forms that take ideas from nature. The application of biophilic design is applied to several solutions, including: the shape of the mass which refers to the shape of the water wave, the appearance of the building using wood elements so as to give a natural appearance, as well as the atmosphere of the inside and outside of the building, by adding elements of vegetation/plants, By incorporating natural elements into the design of the building, is expected to reduce the stress level of workers at the Sidoarjo Creativepreneur Center.
