Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of the Pemuda Tangguh (Resilient Youth) Scholarship Program implementation on the motivation and academic achievement of scholarship recipients in Surabaya. The study employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sample consists of 400 respondents selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) via SPSS version 27. The results indicate that the implementation of the Pemuda Tangguh Scholarship Program received a mean score of 2.54, while student motivation scored 2.56 and academic achievement scored 2.58; all these values fall within the "agree" category. Hypothesis testing reveals that the implementation of the Pemuda Tangguh Scholarship Program has a positive and significant effect on student motivation, with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 14.9%. Furthermore, the program's implementation also has a positive and significant effect on student academic achievement, with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 11.9%. These findings demonstrate that the effective implementation of the Pemuda Tangguh Scholarship Program can enhance both student motivation and academic achievement.
