Abstract

The "Republik Melon" Farmers' Association is an organization established to support melon farmers in Wates District, Blitar Regency. This study aims to analyze the role of the "Republik Melon" Farmers' Association, the level of member empowerment, and the factors influencing farmers' decisions to join the association in Wates District, Blitar Regency. The analytical methods employed were rating analysis and binary logistic regression. The results indicate that the "Republik Melon" Farmers' Association plays a significant role, with performance scores of 84.52% for channeling aspirations, 74.40% for partnership oversight, and 86.79% for the provision of facilities and infrastructure. Member empowerment levels were also high, reflected in scores of 86.16% for decision-making, 88.62% for independence, and 77.38% for the ability to leverage future business opportunities. Binary logistic regression results show that business turnover and access to information significantly influence farmers' decisions to join the association, whereas access to markets and credit does not have a significant effect.
