Abstract

Competition among companies to attract young talent, particularly Generation Z, has driven the need for effective recruitment strategies through the use of digital technology and the establishment of a strong corporate image. This study aims to determine the influence of e-recruitment and employer branding on intention to apply among Generation Z in Surabaya. This study employs a quantitative approach, with a population comprising all Generation Z individuals in Surabaya who have searched for and applied for jobs online. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. The sample used consists of 110 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method, with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results show that e-recruitment and employer branding contribute to Generation Z's intention to apply in Surabaya. This indicates that the better the quality of e-recruitment and the stronger the employer branding possessed by a company, the higher Generation Z's interest in applying for jobs at that company. Keywords: E-Recruitment, Employer Branding, Intention to Apply, Generation Z
