Abstract

The cultivation of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae, commonly known as maggot, has gained increasing interest due to its wide range of benefits, particularly in organic waste management and as an alternative feed with high protein content. Along with the development of this cultivation practice, many regions have begun adopting this method to support the local economy. However, maggot farmers often face challenges in managing growth and selecting appropriate feed. To address these challenges, the MaggotIN application was developed by utilizing cloud computing technology. The MaggotIN application aims to improve the efficiency of maggot farmers' data management through real-time access, secure data storage, and flexible scalability. The main features of the application include user authentication, educational guidance, and machine learning-based maggot prediction. The prediction feature allows users to upload images of maggots for growth-stage analysis and appropriate care recommendations. In addition, the application utilizes cloud infrastructure, including Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage, to ensure reliable performance and high data security. The implementation of cloud computing technology in MaggotIN demonstrated significant improvements in data management and information accessibility, contributing to the efficiency and productivity of maggot cultivation. Therefore, MaggotIN is expected to serve as a modern agribusiness technology solution that contributes to sustainable maggot cultivation management.
