Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of Environmental Knowledge, Perceived Value, and Social Influence on Green Purchase Intention toward second-hand fashion through TikTok Live among Generation Z in Surabaya. This study is motivated by the significant environmental impact of the global fashion industry, including the high volume of textile waste and carbon emissions, which has encouraged the growth of second-hand fashion as a more sustainable form of consumption. In addition, the development of TikTok Live as a social commerce channel has made interactions between sellers and buyers of secondhand fashion more accessible and interactive. A quantitative survey approach was employed in this study. A total of 150 Generation Z respondents in Surabaya, born between 1997 and 2012 and who had watched TikTok Live sessions selling second-hand fashion, were selected using purposive sampling. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire using Google Forms and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with SmartPLS version 4.0. The results show that Environmental Knowledge, Perceived Value, and Social Influence each have a positive and significant effect on Green Purchase Intention toward second-hand fashion through TikTok Live among Generation Z in Surabaya. This indicates that higher levels of environmental knowledge, perceived value, and social support are associated with stronger purchase intentions. These findings are expected to provide a reference for second-hand fashion businesses in optimizing TikTok Live as an educational and marketing medium while encouraging more sustainable fashion consumption patterns. Keywords: Environmental Knowledge, Perceived Value, Social Influence, Green Purchase Intention, Second-Hand Fashion
