Abstract
Human development is one of the important indicators for measuring the success of regional development. The Human Development Index (HDI) reflects the quality of human development through the dimensions of health, education, and a decent standard of living. Magetan Regency experienced an increase in HDI during the 2010–2024 period, while regional economic and fiscal factors such as Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD), economic growth, General Allocation Fund (DAU), and capital expenditure showed fluctuating developments. This study aims to analyze the effects of Local Own-Source Revenue, economic growth, General Allocation Fund, and capital expenditure on the Human Development Index in Magetan Regency. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary time-series data for the 2010–2024 period. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with the assistance of EViews software. The analysis includes classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results show that Local Own-Source Revenue has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index in Magetan Regency. Meanwhile, economic growth, General Allocation Fund, and capital expenditure have no significant effect on the Human Development Index. Simultaneously, Local Own-Source Revenue, economic growth, General Allocation Fund, and capital expenditure jointly have a significant effect on the Human Development Index in Magetan Regency.
