Abstract
Service development Mobile Banking encourage digital transformation in the banking sector, both conventional and sharia. However, the success of the implementation of digital services depends not only on the available technology, but also on the user's acceptance of the application used. Differences in the characteristics of banking services can influence factors that shape the intention to use the application Mobile Banking. Therefore, this study analyzes the comparison of technology acceptance in BRImo as a representation of conventional banks and Byond by BSI as a representation of Islamic banks. This study uses a model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) modified with Education Level as a moderation variable. The variables analyzed include Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions against Behavioral Intention. The research uses a quantitative approach through a survey method with purposive sampling. After the process Data Cleaning, a total of 426 respondents were used as final data and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4. The results showed that out of 16 hypotheses, eight hypotheses were accepted and eight hypotheses were rejected. Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions have a positive and significant effect on Behavioral Intention in BRImo and Byond by BSI. Meanwhile, Education Level It was not proven to moderate the relationship between the four variables. The results of the MGA also showed that there was no significant difference between the groups of education level. Overall, the two applications showed relatively similar patterns of technology acceptance.
