Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of the Fraud Diamond—comprising pressure, opportunity, rationalization, and capability—on academic cheating behavior, with student behavior and Pancasila values serving as moderating variables, viewed from a behavioral accounting perspective. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 102 undergraduate accounting students (Class of 2026) from Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” East Java as respondents. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using the PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that pressure and capability influence academic cheating behavior, whereas opportunity and rationalization do not. Neither student behavior nor Pancasila values moderated the influence of pressure, opportunity, rationalization, or capability on academic cheating behavior.
