Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of Village Fund Allocation on reducing stunting prevalence through health and nutrition-related interventions in Lamongan Regency. The research employs Propensity Score Matching (PSM) to estimate the Average Treatment on the Treated (ATT) and Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) to assess additional supporting variables. The PSM results show that treated villages experienced a statistically significant reduction in stunting of about 1.2 percentage points, indicating that the Village Fund programs are effective in improving child nutritional outcomes. Meanwhile, the OLS results suggest that not all supporting variables have a significant effect, although most coefficient directions align with human capital development theory. Overall, the findings confirm that the Village Fund plays a crucial role in accelerating stunting reduction and should be strengthened through more targeted and well-managed interventions.
