Abstract
Surajaya Stadium will be completely rebuilt into a FIFA standard stadium in 2024. The Surajaya Stadium football field is built with a layer structure in accordance with FIFA standards, The sustainability of activities inside the stadium, especially related to the quality and safety of the game, is greatly influenced by the effectiveness of the drainage system under the surface of the field. The subsurface drainage system functions to drain rainwater quickly and evenly so that waterlogging does not occur above the field surface. Waterlogging can cause several serious problems, such as lowering the quality of the grass surface, increasing the risk of player injury, shortening the life of the field, and disrupting the course of the match. The purpose of this Final Project is to plan a football field drainage system to prevent waterlogging above the surface of the football field. The research method used in the planning of the football field's subsurface drainage system was carried out several analyses, namely hydrological analysis to determine the discharge results of the plan with 11 years of rainfall data from 3 stations, calculating the average rainfall using the arithmetic method, while the planned rain was determined by the distribution of Pearson Log III, soil analysis to determine soil permeability and infiltration rate, and hydraulic analysis to determine the distance of the drain panels. The discharge of the existing pipe must be greater than the value of the infiltration discharge and the discharge of the rain load. The calculation results obtained a rainfall discharge of 2,02 〖×10〗^(-3) m^3/s, an infiltration discharge of 3.77 ×10^(-3) m^3/s, and an existing pipe discharge of 4.34 ×10^(-1) m^3/s, then the existing pipe discharge is greater than the infiltration discharge, the infiltration discharge is greater than the rainfall discharge. Based on the calculation of the analysis, the underground drainage system of the football field can prevent waterlogging above the surface of the football field.
