Abstract
PT. Romi Violeta Sidoarjo is a company engaged in the furniture industry that have the best quality to ensure that consumers receive the desired product. These products are the company's main products, which are produced with the support of machines and experts. In industry, especially on the safety of employees when carrying out the production process, it is something that companies must pay attention to. The Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) method is used as an effort to prevent work accidents by identifying potential risks in each job related to each step of the work and is also used as a solution given to eliminate and control existing hazards. This study aims to determine and analyze the risk of work accidents in the production department of PT. Romi Violeta Sidoarjo with the application of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC). The results showed that the danger of work accidents at PT. Romi Violeta in 2017 there were 6 work accidents, in 2018 there were 16 work accidents, in 2019 there were 14 work accidents, in 2020 there were 9 work accidents, and in 2021 there were 3 work accidents. There are 12 processes that have a low level of risk, 34 processes that have a moderate level of risk and 2 processes that have a high level of risk. Sources of danger belonging to the low category are 25%, the medium category is 71%, while the sources of danger are classified as high by 4%.
