Abstract

Trans Jatim is a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)-based public transportation service in East Java equipped with a mobile application to facilitate users in accessing route information, schedules, and ticket purchases. However, the level of user satisfaction and usability of this application has not been clearly identified. This study aims to analyze the usability level of the Trans Jatim application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The SUS method was chosen because it is a simple, quick, and proven valid and reliable usability measurement instrument widely used in various studies. Data were collected through a SUS questionnaire consisting of 10 statements distributed to [number] respondents who were users of the Trans Jatim application, using a [sampling technique, e.g., purposive sampling] technique. The collected data were then processed to obtain the average SUS score, which was subsequently interpreted based on the grade scale, adjective rating, and acceptability range. The results show that the Trans Jatim application obtained an average SUS score of [score], which falls into the [e.g., "Good"/"Acceptable"] category with a grade of [e.g., B]. This indicates that the Trans Jatim application [general conclusion, e.g., "is generally fairly easy to use, although there are still several aspects that need improvement, such as..."]. This research is expected to serve as an evaluation material for developers in improving the usability quality of the Trans Jatim application in the future.
