Abstract
The production process is a key activity in the agro-industry that determines the company's success in meeting market demand efficiently. CV Kopi Citarasa Persada is a robusta ground coffee processing company that faces problems in controlling raw material inventory in the form of hard skin coffee, labels, and standing pouches which impacts the production process due to an unstructured procurement system and demand fluctuations. This study aims to analyze demand projections, raw material requirements planning, and the level of inventory cost efficiency. The study uses the Monte Carlo simulation method for demand forecasting and the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with the Lot For Lot (LFL) and Fixed Period Requirement (FPR) techniques. The forecasting results show that the demand projection for 2026 is 1,821 kg, an increase of 13.18% compared to 2025 with a MAPE value of 19.98% in the good category. The LFL technique produces an order frequency of 48 times with an average order of 74.83 kg/order, while the FPR is only 10 times with an average order of 359.2 kg/order. The LFL technique is 0.52% efficient or saves Rp 5,230 and the FPR technique is 64% efficient or saves Rp 641,466 compared to the company's method of Rp 1,002,230. The FPR technique is recommended as the most efficient inventory planning method.
