Abstract
Pabrik Natrium Silika dari Pasir Silika dan Natrium Hidroksida dengan Proses Brunner Mond direncanakan akan didirikan di kawasan industri yang terletak di Kabupaten Tangerang, Banten. Bahan baku yang digunakan untuk proses pembuatannya yaitu Pasir Silika dan Natrium Hidroksida (NaOH). Pabrik ini memiliki beberapa tahapan proses, yaitu diawali dengan proses persiapan bahan baku dengan melarutkan natrium hidroksida menjadi larutan, kemudian reaksi antara bahan baku pasir silika dan natrium hidroksida, kemudian dilakukan proses pengkristalan di crystalizer, dilanjutkan dengan proses pengeringan pada rotary dryer. Setelah didapatkan kristal yang kering dilakukan pengecilan serta penyeragaman ukuran kristal, hingga kristal siap dikemas dan dipasarkan. Pabrik asam fosfat ini dirancang beroperasi selama 330 hari per tahun dengan Kapasitas produksi 35.000 ton/tahun.
