Abstract
Growth, and Regional Original Revenue on poverty in Bangkalan Regency before and after the construction of the Suramadu Bridge during the 2000–2024 period. This study employed a quantitative approach using the multiple linear regression method estimated with EViews 12 software. The results indicate that, before the construction of the Suramadu Bridge, the Open Unemployment Rate, Economic Growth, and Regional Original Revenue had no significant effect on poverty in Bangkalan Regency. Meanwhile, after the construction of the Suramadu Bridge, the Open Unemployment Rate and Economic Growth also had no significant effect on poverty, whereas Regional Original Revenue had a negative and significant effect on poverty in Bangkalan Regency. Therefore, poverty alleviation efforts should focus on improving the quality of human resources through skills training and workforce competency development, promoting more inclusive and equitable economic growth, and optimizing Regional Original Revenue by increasing local revenue generation and implementing effective budget management to support regional development and programs aimed at improving community welfare.
