Abstract
Increasing industrialization and urbanization have intensified water pollution by persistent organic dyes such as methylene blue, necessitating efficient treatment technologies. This study synthesized magnetic Fe₃O₄/zeolite composites via ultrasonic co-precipitation to enhance adsorption performance and facilitate magnetic separation. The materials were characterized using XRD, FTIR, SEM–EDX, and SAA, confirming the successful incorporation of Fe₃O₄ onto the zeolite surface and pores with good magnetic properties. The effects of sonication temperature and time on methylene blue removal were investigated, with the optimum condition achieved at 50 °C and 45 min, resulting in a maximum removal efficiency of 99.92%.
