Abstract

J&T Cargo Jombang is a logistics service company that requires fast, centralized, and documented employee data management. However, the previous employee management process was carried out through separate media, especially for the absence process, permit application, schedule management, and preparation of attendance reports. This condition can make data difficult to monitor in real time, risk recording errors, and slow down the decision-making process by management. This research resulted in a web-based employee management information system by implementing Scrum as an Agile development framework. The development stages included the preparation of the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. System development was carried out in four sprints that resulted in user authentication features, employee dashboard, admin dashboard, manager dashboard, employee data management, work schedule management, absence, permit application and approval, salary management, and attendance reports. Functional evaluation was conducted through black-box testing using the equivalence partitioning technique for 93 scenarios. All scenarios provided outputs in accordance with the specified results. Furthermore, User Acceptance Testing achieved a score of 259 out of a maximum of 300, or 88.6%, placing it in the very acceptable category. These results demonstrate that the system can be used to support integrated, documented, and easily monitored employee administration management
