Abstract
The finished goods warehouse plays an important role in ensuring the smooth distribution of products to customers. PT XYZ faces various challenges in its finished goods warehouse processes that affect the efficiency and sustainability of warehouse operations. These issues indicate the presence of waste that needs to be systematically identified. This study aims to analyze the current state of the finished goods warehouse using the Sustainable Value Stream Mapping (Sus-VSM) method and to design a future state as an improvement proposal through the implementation of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. Sus-VSM was selected for its ability to simultaneously integrate economic, social, and environmental dimensions. The research methodology includes Process Activity Mapping (PAM), waste identification, and root cause analysis using fishbone diagrams. The findings reveal the presence of five waste categories: defect, transportation, inventory, motion, and overprocessing. Improvement proposals were developed through the implementation of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The current state analysis identified 49 activities with a total lead time of 10,387.87 minutes, a time efficiency of 26,8%, and a quality efficiency of 99%. From an environmental perspective, fuel consumption efficiency was recorded at 68% and emission efficiency at 68%. From a social perspective, workload efficiency was recorded at 75,38%. In the proposed future state, lead time is reduced to 9948,27 minutes, representing a decrease of approximately 2.74%, time efficiency increases to 27,05%, and workload efficiency improves to 92,72%.
