Abstract
The development of information technology encourages the use of digital learning media that can be accessed flexibly by users. One form of this utilization is the development of a Progressive Web App-based Learning Management System as a pre-university learning medium for high school students as prospective university students. This study aims to design and develop a learning system that helps students access courses, materials, quizzes, assignments, discussion forums, learning progress, transactions, and certificates in a structured manner. The development method used in this study is Rapid Application Development (RAD) through two iterations, namely the preparation of the initial design based on user requirements and system refinement based on the feedback obtained. The system was developed using Next.js as the frontend, Laravel as the backend, and PostgreSQL as the database with a headless architecture approach through a RESTful API. Testing was conducted using black box testing, non-functional requirement testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results of the black box testing show that the main features of the system run according to the functional requirements. In addition, the UAT results show that the student group obtained an acceptance percentage of 94%, the instructor group obtained 87%, and the administrator obtained 86%. These results indicate that the system received a very good assessment from each type of user, so the system is considered acceptable and feasible to be used as a pre-university learning medium.
